The intention behind this song is to help you connect with your heart, get centered, and GO!
lyrics
3 KEYS FOR IMPACT
(as discussed with Alexis Cohen at the Art Medicine Festival)
1. "GO!" and listen to your heart - Don't let the mind get too involved. Your heart is your finest GPS and its wisdom is to be trusted. If you need to adjust course further down the line, that will also become clear! One thing is certain: if you never go, you'll never know...
(what your heart had in store/all the amazing places it might lead you).
2. Don't travel alone - Find a trusty crew that will be there to offer real support when you need it (including loved ones if you're so fortunate). Seek out teachers and mentors who can help light the path forward. And once you're launched, partner LIKE CRAZY...
*For example, if you're a visual artist/animator and feel moved to create a music video for this song—or a teacher who would like to collaborate on a healing/meditation track for your community in the future—please reach out :)
3. Stay stoked! - Recognize that the inevitable challenges and obstacles along the way are actually there for your growth. Find the tools and practices that will help you move through any storm with more grace and a fuller tank (these will be unique to you; try to experience them without guilt or too much regard for what other people may think). Before you know it, your spark will ignite a fire, lighting you AND others up!
If you never go, you'll never grow.
But worst of all, you'll never know...
Have a beautiful journey!
From the heart,
Daniel
